LIbreoffice popups

Hi

I have got some strange thing in libreoffice from quite long time.

If I create a new file using LO writer a window pops up "can not write" and "General error" .
But it writes correctly.
If I open this file pops up again with "General error" but opens if I close pop up window.

This is for new created files and downloaded from net .

In LO Calc I have got "not all attributes could be read" pop up.
But again .I close pop up and document is opened OK.
Impress is OK.

If I save as MS Word Excel document is OK .

I do not know.
1. I created new user - the same.
2. Created from root - the same.
3. Checked dependencies - nothing, maybe some related package don't know?

From console I have only this message but I do not know it is associated with this problem. Probably it's associated with no system sound while window pops up.
"
Code:
 (soffice:19592): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_icon_list: icons too large
Error creating proxy: Błąd podczas wywoływania metody StartServiceByName dla org.gtk.vfs.AfcVolumeMonitor: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process org.gtk.vfs.AfcVolumeMonitor exited with status 127 (g-dbus-error-quark, 25)
 "
I gave up.
Remained recompilation but it's quite big package and may I stay with that annoying pop ups.

We know neither what is your LO version nor how and with what options it was built, furthermore it is not Slackware related so it's unlikely that we can help you with just the information you provided.

However my little goggle-fu found a bug filed as #72781 that could maybe be related: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archiv...er/163816.html.

I suggest that you just upgrade. If you do not want to recompile, get a package kindly built by Eric Hameleers for instance from http://slackware.uk/people/alien/sla...s/libreoffice/ and install it. Only if the issue remains after upgrade it would be worthwhile to investigate further.

Thanks Didier

1.I have read #72781 already.
2.This is most recent Aliens Bob package for current.
3. I can not give the date when it began. For the first time I installed Bob's LO /maybe it was OpenOffice/ in slackware 14.0 and everything was OK. but in the meantime something changed . I think it was more than year ago when popups apear for the first time when I was upgrading to current.

It's not critical but just annoying .

Removed ~/.config/libreofice many times.

Not works.

I think
the remaining 2 options:

1.recompiling on my own machine.
2.missed some related package /not strict dependent on runtime/
