library trobles

when I try to start abiword (and a number of other programs) from the fluxbox menu, nothing hapens. when I type the command "abiword" into rxvt, i get the message:

Quote:
abiword: error while loading shared libraries: libpangoxft - 1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.
i think this means that i need "libpangoxft",

Does anyone know where to get "libpangoxft" in source form? cause im in slack and I dont have, nor do I want to have RPM.

PS. i installed this weird "libpng" package, if thats suposed to be it, ill need another source, cause my CD's not of the best quality and many of the packages are flawed, casue instaling that package didnt fix my problem.

libpangoxft is part of the pango package which is on your Slackware CD in the L group of packages. Libpng is a library used for the png image format .
