Question libperl.so not found - openwebmail install

This is the error i'm getting:

/usr/bin/suidperl: error while loading shared libraries: libperl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have perl 5.8.0 package from slack 9 installed.

i just installed perl 5.8.2 from source, still same error.

this file doesn't exist on 3 slack machines i work with.

anyone know what/where it is?

Thanks,

I solved that problem by answering yes to perl's question 'shall I create shared libraries' and calling it libperl.so and then copying it to /lib. Good luck
