libgnomeprint 2.0 [!?]
 

I'm trying to install Evolution mail client... and I need certain libraries and stuff to get Evolution built... the problem is libgnomeprint which is needed by gal which is needed by gtkgtml...

when ./configure gal2, it always says it needs libgnomeprint-2.0... I cant find it anywhere, but I have installed libgnomeprint 2.0... why isn't that good enough?!

Then I tried with gal 1.x several versions, it demands gal 0.20.19...
I've even tried with gal 0.20, 0.21... with those versions it just says that there's sth wrong with xml...

I've run out of options here... =[
