Question libgconf-2.so.4: - cannot open shared object

Hello!
I downloaded and installed the alltray Slackware package from here :
http://www.slacky.it/index.php?option=com_remository&
Itemid=29&func=download&id=1210&
chk=2a7b3ecb116b3f35768dad8ce0ecb5dc
The problem is that when I try to start the programme, it complains:
alltray: error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can anyone help me?

unsurprisingly libgconf-2.so.4 is in GConf-2.4 so either install that and it's dependencies, upgrade from an older version, or take a step back and find an alternative source for your software, possibly by compiling from source.

That is because alltray requires the presence of gconf - this is a Gnome package so you will need to install something like Freerock Gnome or Gware on top of your Slackware 10.2 or 11.0.
Don't know if that is really worth the trouble.

Yes I can. Now hear this C.F.B.
This is the third time you crossposted a thread.
Stop that behaviour right now, period.
No "please" and no more asking nicely.
