LAN Drivers can't find Kernel Header
Hey,
I am total newbie to Slackware and Linux so I dont know wat I am talkin abt here. I tried installin Linux drivers for my Marvell Yukon Miniport onboard Network controller (which came with my ASUS P5GDC-v Deluxe mobo).
the driver had choices between Client32,Linux,NDIS2,Netware,ODI and SCOUnix,
So I went into the Linux folder and did ./install.sh
Then I chose the auto install mode and then it gave following error
" Kernel Header not found. Please install the linux header files development package or create s link from the /usr/src/KERNEL_VERSION to linux
e.g : ln -s usr/src/Kernel_Version /usr/src/linux "
I just installed Slackware Linux 11 . I had some problems during install , many packages which were recommended for FULL install but not required weren't installed.
I went to /usr/src/ folder
there is only a single rpms folder inside no other folder
Please need a reply ASAP. Right now I need to reboot to windows just to post in the forum.
Thanks
Devdatta
