well, at least sgmltools seemed to be included in the
extra packaged of slackware 8.1 .
It seems it meant to be optional, bit silly that kdevelop prompts
for it though.

I searched a bit on the program requested. I found a site for the sgmltools.org that stated it was no longer being maintained and that I think was maybe a year or two ago. I found nothing in Slack 8.0 for ksgml2html. kdesdk was there in 8.0 but did not contain it either. When I searched on the kdevelop site, the only references appeared to be a part of kdevelop 1.x version. kdevelop does look for sgmltools to be installed when it is setup, perhaps to generate the file when it is setup.

You might get more helpfull insight from the kdevelop group at kdevelop.org. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thank you for the troubles.
Though my problem is already solved.

I found that in the extra package of Slackware 8.1
(not on the iso cd. ... /slackware/slackware-8.1/extra )
contains sgmltools 1.0.9. ++ worth checking out.
(gcc 3.0, java - runtime lib. ,cups , sdl .. and more)

Kdevelop now managed to generate the documentation
files and so .. quite kewl actually.

I wonder a bit if they will fix a contribution iso later?

Slackware has in the past made all the ISO images available. Right now though, posting them would only add to the aggrevation of limited bandwidth. Everybody would be downloading them as well.

Cheers!
