Kopete can't connect to MSN
 

Hi all

I'm running slackware-current 32bit.

Some weeks ago Kopete stops to connect to MSN. ICQ and Jabber was still working. I wasn't able to understand why it wasn't able to connect. In the account configuration the MSN account was always in the state "connecting", and I haven't found how to get an error log or a debug mode for kopete.

But searching on google I've found this:

So I've tried to upgrade libmsn .. it does the trick, now MSN connects correctly.

With latest -current updates libmsn 4.2.1 is already included - kopete now works fine with stock packages (at least on my PC)
