kobject_register failed Any help ?

dmesg reports the following error .Can i do somethink about it or just ignore it .Its usb related and the 2 final lines of the code give a radeon error maybe thats why glxinfo states No acceleration

Any help is really apreaciated

Code:

I would try in a first step to put usbcore, usblp, uhci_hcd
and ehci_hcd in /etc/hotplug/blacklist (temporarly)
Then, after a reboot, I would try to load them by hand with
modprobe <module_name> for each module
If it works, you can add modprobe lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules

I've tried to blacklist the modules but was unsucesfull so i recompiled the
kernel removing all theese modules .No i get less erors apart from the following :

Code:
kobject_register failed for usbcore (-17)
 [<c01fa8c7>] kobject_register+0x57/0x60
 [<c01313a7>] mod_sysfs_setup+0x77/0xe0
 [<c01325a7>] load_module+0x8a7/0xbb0
 [<c0132911>] sys_init_module+0x61/0x220
 [<c010290f>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb
kobject_register failed for usbcore (-17)
 [<c01fa8c7>] kobject_register+0x57/0x60
 [<c01313a7>] mod_sysfs_setup+0x77/0xe0
 [<c01325a7>] load_module+0x8a7/0xbb0
 [<c0132911>] sys_init_module+0x61/0x220
 [<c010290f>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb
kobject_register failed for usbcore (-17)
 [<c01fa8c7>] kobject_register+0x57/0x60
 [<c01313a7>] mod_sysfs_setup+0x77/0xe0
 [<c01325a7>] load_module+0x8a7/0xbb0
 [<c0132911>] sys_init_module+0x61/0x220
 [<c010290f>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb
kobject_register failed for usblp (-17)
 [<c01fa8c7>] kobject_register+0x57/0x60
 [<c01313a7>] mod_sysfs_setup+0x77/0xe0
 [<c01325a7>] load_module+0x8a7/0xbb0
 [<c0132911>] sys_init_module+0x61/0x220
 [<c010290f>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb

usbcore appears to be the basic USB functionality in the kernel
appears on the top of the page under USB devices (Thereafter without it cannot
make the rest of the list visible )

I've got it as a module but i can add it to the kernel .
The other problem is the 3d capability

Code:
drm:radeon_cp_init] *ERROR* radeon_cp_init called without lock held
[drm:radeon_unlock] *ERROR* Process 3422 using kernel context 0

Thanks in advance

Did you enable usb hid driver in config ?
--USB Human Interface Device (full HID) support
--HID input layer support

Also what is your output, from the kernel directory
with :
grep -v ^# .config | grep -i usb

USB Human Interface Device (full HID) support is not selected at all

and the output from the command is :

CONFIG_USB=m
CONFIG_USB_ARCH_HAS_HCD=y
CONFIG_USB_HAS_OHCI=y
CONFIG_USB_PRINTER=m

Try recompile the kernel with HID
also add HIDINPUT, EHCI_HCD and UHCI_HCD as modules
maybe add USB_STORAGE, up to you

I'm not sure about the USB stuff, but wrt to the Radeon, I'm having the same problem. AFAICT it's something to do with having the correct AGP bridge drivers, at least in my case. Check out the DRI Wiki for more info.

First though, the stuff about mtrr overlap; I fixed this on mine by starting linux non-fb (the framebuffer is using the same range.) This may be your only problem as your agp_gart is starting fine.
