Kmymoney with HBCI on Slackware64-13.37: How?
Dear all,
I am trying to get Kmymoney working with HBCI support on my Slackware64-13.37 system. My understanding is, that there are three dependencies for Kmymoney 4.5.3: AqBanking 5.0.5 Gwenhyfwar 4.0.9 KMyMoney Plugin (kmm_kbanking) 1.0 I used to believe, that the plugin wasn't needed anymore in recent version of KMyMoney, but it seems, that I was wrong. With src2pkg I was able to compile AqBanking and Gwenhyfwar: Code:
# src2pkg -e After some web research I came to the conclusion, that the KBanking module is still needed. So I grabbed it from the original source. Unfortunately I can't properly compile this one. Although I installed KDE3 and Qt3 compatibility packages from Slackware64-13.1 I get: Code:
checking for Qt... configure: Thanks in advance! gargamel |
Banking in the USA, Slackware 13.37 32 bit, KDE version 4.5.5, KMyMoney version 4.5.2, the help for the OFX Importer plugin says:
Direct Connect OFX Direct Connect is now supported in KMyMoney. This gives you the ability to contact your bank directly to obtain statements. In the future, there will be more help written, and this will be moved to its own section. To enable this feature, you must compile KMyMoney with the --enable-ofxbanking switch (now the default). Please be warned: Many banks require a separate signup, will give you a separate password or PIN, and may even charge you a separate fee for this service. No bank directly supports KMyMoney. You will have to tell them you want to bank directly from MS Money or Quicken. ISTR using it during testing of KMyMoney vs. Windows Quicken. Quicken still does more (though not by too awfully much), so I let KMyMoney languish. I hope my vague memories help out. [edit: I'm two for two today on answering a different question than what was asked. Sorry.] |
Hi, jamesf,
thanks. OFX plugin is working, it seems, but I need HBCI support. gargamel |
