KMail - mail import...? :-O
 

Want to say at start - linux become more and more shitty. more and more like ms products, sadly.

i use kmail - with periods - many years.
today install slackware64 14.2 on my computer at work, and want import my old mails from old kmail. copy
.local/shale/local-mail from my old home dir to /Second/Import/

open kmail on new computer, choose "file" -> "import messages" -> "import kmail maildirs and folder structure", "please select folder to import" - and there is only local maildir available - no way to get higher?

what a shit? what a microsoft-like things there?
i be really confused....

this is a linux? application for unix machines? :-O

So...it's 'SOLVED'? You're not going to say what YOU did wrong in the first place and let everyone know what it took to fix it?

my own problem. at first there is question. not FROM where import, but where TO import. second step is choice a "source", and there you can get access to whole filesystem...
