Hello
I run Slackware 13.0 with Xfce 4.0 as the desktop envireoment, fresh from install. My problem is that i want to be able to use my danish keyboard.
I have managed to get the keyboard layout changed from US to Danish on the root user, but the change does not persist to the normal user.
I changed the keyboard layout by first trying to edit the xorg.conf file to this
Code:
Identifier "Keyboard1"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbLayout" "dk"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
But it did'nt work at first. so i followed this guide afterwards, ultimately changing it to use the xorg.conf settings instead of the Daemon settings (if i have understood it right. This i my first Slack install, so i'm a complete newbie)

after that also failed to solve my problem, i went to the Xfce settings and changedf the keyboard layout. That worked, but i am not allowed to do the same on a normal user. How do i change the keyboard layout for a non-root user?
*EDIT* Fixed it myself. turns out i had to just click one more place in the Xfce keyboard layout tool.
