key board and mouse locks
 

ok so title says it. my mobo is an asus a7m266-d both lock unexpectedly at times latel;y seems like once a day. i'm not sure if its slack thats causing the problem. when it happens i hit the restart button and it stays locked. itll go thru the memory test continue to boot the system but they are still locked unless i hit the power off button. what can i do about this? or where should i start to look? do i need to update the bios? if so i never done that before. but slack even tho keyboard and mouse is locked everything up on my screen still runs. if i have a d/ l goin on it continues. i can also hear buddies siging on and off when it happens.

ok it just happened again heres what i did. hit the power button and it didnt werk. hit the reset button and machine restatrs after mem test and drive detection is says keyboard is locked use or hit the unlock key. so then i hit the power button. this is the 2nd time 2day its happened. and this i get before prompted for which kernel to boot.:scratch: :mad:

up. its still hapening

This happened to me a few times too... But fresh install of slack saved me.

even after fresh installs it always happened. so theres something goin on sum where. can i look for an error somewhere? to help the cause?
