Kernel Source - Where?

I'm installing a driver that requires the kernel source... It goes to a directory but finds nothing...

I have the Slackware 9.0 cd1 installed full, so, the question is:

Is the kernel source in it (and I just can't find) ?

- If so, where is it??
- If not where can I get it??

Tkz!

Nope.

From your closest Slackware-mirror.... go to
slackware-9.0/slackware/k
and download kernel-source-2.4.20-noarch-5.tgz

Cheers,
Tink

If you grab the package from source you'll
have to apply the patches for xfs and ext3
(don't know whether Pat applied any others ;})
yourself ...

Whether it works for you depends on whether
you used one of the patched features in your
install or not.

Cheers,
Tink

Also, the Slackware kernel package allows you to be really lazy. When you installpkg, it winds up in the right directory all by itself...and creates the symlink /usr/src/linux too. All for free!
