Does anybody know when the kernel 2.6 will precompiled in slackware current? Would that require quite a bit of work?
Just wandering

Not anytime soon...

The new kernel needs to get most of its bugs worked out... which it still has quite a few.
the 2.4 kernel works fine anyway....

I hope pat will include it by next major release. However I would be just as happy seeing a 2.4 kernel too.
