kernel 2.6.6. cfg problems

hi all

i have recently compiled the new kernel, and i'm having some problems with the configuration. the most serious is that the usb keyboard doesn't work, when the system boots, linix stays waing for a username and password, and when i try to write it, it simply doesn't type, the cursor, stays a little diferent like "|".

the other problems are that modules: agpgart and ide_scsi aren't beeing loaded and that causes erros in boot.

help?

Could you be more specific? Is this your first kernel compile, or were you using off a .config that was working with a earlier kernel? What system do you have, laptop of pc, brand name or one you put together?

you probably haven't compiled usb keyboard support into your kernel

i have read that, somewhere in the kernel docs i need to have the module keybdev, but i can find his reference in menuconfig, xconfig ou manually or .config.

i guess that the problem comes from there but i donīt know how to bypass it.
