kernel 220.127.116.11, mouse/screen freezes in -current; does yours?
so, I compiled the 18.104.22.168 kernel yesterday
and used the config from 22.214.171.124 doing make oldconfig, etc
its the vanilla kernel with BFS, BFQ[*], Tuxonice, aufs2, & squashfs-lzma patches
after compiling and rebooting I have noticed that the mouse freezes
whenever the pc cpu is running high cpu %
this didnt happen before with any other kernel
and as I said, I used the 126.96.36.199 config
Has anyone else had issues with 188.8.131.52 kernel?
hardware is amd athlon64 3300+ 2.4ghz 1GB RAM, on 32bit Slackware -current
I am going to compile the vanilla kernel now and see what happens...
The changes from 35.6 to 35.7 is only a typo in the xen. It shouldn't make any significant different.
I'm still using 184.108.40.206 and so far, i don't have any problem with it, so i'm sticking with it for now.
220.127.116.11, compiled today - everything O.K. in here.
maybe my bad
I just compiled the same exact kernel source using same exact .config
but this time I compiled it on my K7
and everything's fine?!
I initially compiled it on my K8 'cause it is much faster, etc at compiling
but, I also compiled about 6 different kernels yesterday on my ole venerable K8 and maybe it got tired?
hopefully solved or was an aberration...
