kdeinit: libglide3 missing

Im trying to startup KDE and I get an error from kdeinit. It complains about libglide3.so.3 and that its missing. Now I have a NVIDIA card and X started fine when I used IceWM. But now that I upgraded to a more 'beefy' system I wanna check out KDE. So Im guessing this is a KDE specific error. Searched the KDE boards for libglide adn nothing came up. Anyone know anything? thx.
