Hi

I tried a kde-3.2.3 update with (all the kde, qt,...) packages from slack-current.

But, since I have not switched to x.org, there was a failed dependency (libXinerama.so.1 or so) and kde didn't start.

I think I will wait for slack-10, which seems to be released soon.

That might indicate a need to upgrade XFree to version 4.4.0..............along with the KDE upgrade.........

Yes I know...

But when the rumors are right, slack-10 will be out soon. That would spare me some work.

libXinerama.so.1.0 comes with package X11-6.7.0 you should update to that (it's the latest Xorg available on slack)

Already Slackware 10.0 rc2 is here, according to the latest ChangeLog.txt in the slackware-current branch..............
