Question KDE Upgrade + all GUI crash

I recently tried to upgrade from KDE 3.2->3.3 and after installation, not only can I not start KDE, but all GUI's fail to start and I keep getting the error "kdeinit failed to start". I am thinking possibly I uninstalled a needed package, but do not know which one it was (quanta?) It was also the beta of 3.3, I just redownloaded it and am about to attempt a reinstall. Any suggestions? Thanks

I don't think that Quanta is a needed package since it's a editor (at least that what's i remember :/).
I browsed for kdeinit in slackware.com's package browser, and it seems kdeinit is on kdelibs package. You just have to install all that starts with kde to get KDE working except for the international libs (those that start kde-i18n).

Oh, and I you should be able to start other window managers because I don't remember anyone depending on KDE, except that you're using kdm as your login manager.
