Hi. I'm not sure if this is a Slackware question or a KDE question, so I'll just ask it here since the change occured after I put Slackware 10.1 on.
When I was running Slackware 10.0, I my bottom panel (which mostly housed my taskbar) set to 78% width. That way, I could have XMMS in its own little space in the bottom-right portion of my screen. See screenshot here
I downloaded Slackware 10.1 soon after and did a clean install (didn't upgrade because I wanted to have a better partition scheme this time around). Now, in KDE, if I set my bottom panel to 78% and try to put XMMS down there, it acts like the panel is taking up 100% of the screen (but is just transparent)... what I mean by that is when I drag XMMS down there, it "disappears" under where the panel would be if it was set to 100%. So it looks like it just vanishes under nothing since the panel doesn't stretch over that far... if any of that makes any sense.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows how I can remedy this. Thanks.
