KDE session fails!

Hi,
I chose gnome as my default window manager during slack instl.
But now i want to try kde. "startkde" fails. Please tell me how to start a session of kde.
Thanks.

edit the hidden file .xinitrc file in your home directory and add startkde in it and remove the other lines.

run xwmconfig and select kde thenrun startx
