kde menus rearranged after dropline gnome install

This is an old problem that had an easy fix from gsb but I can't even seem to find the kdestart script. Any post on how to fix this and how to make gnome and kde menus play nicer with one another would be appreciated.
Running x86_64 multilib 14.0.

Fixed. startkde was in /usr/bin and now I feel a little silly for posting this question. Just add "export XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=/etc/kde/xdg" to the top of the script without the quotes and problem solved. This is the old fix available at the gsb gnome site.
