Kde>gnome


Can someone please remind me what to edit to change what DE/WM you login to when you startx. I am geting sick of KDE.

I think the file you're looking for is ~/.xinitrc

xwmconfig works great , I am always switching DE/WM

Me too...

I seem to go between KDE and Windowmaker...

I like windowmaker alot... but it lacks in a file manager...
I like KDE alot... but it gobbles up memory like nobodys business...

Fluxbox + Rox filer is a winning combination for me (see the screenshot in my sig. )

I like Konqueror for a file manager, but I prefer Fluxbox for my environment, so I just have that on my Fluxbox menu when I need to poke around my file system.
