KDE Default Theme reset

Hi , I am running Slack 13.1 (KDE)...I have accidentally changed the theme and as a result , my desktop has huge sized Icons in the center with a Back button at the top (something like a browser)..The system settings are in the top pane..

I would like to revert to the classical default KDE which is more sublime and soft...

As per the forums ,

I have tried as root - "rm -rf ~/.kde*"

It seems to have deleted , but on reboot still getting the same desktop

did you logged in as root or normal user?
if you use normal user, then execute rm -rf ~/.kde when using normal user, not root account

Oh Ok...I was trying to login from another console as "root" snd gave the command..I also chrooted from another Linux and did the same thing as "root"

I will try this as a normal user ...But will it allow me? Currently I have given power user rights to the user ...

you should delete .kde in the home directory of that user, not using ~ which will substitute to root's home directory

Thanks Willysr ...It worked!
