KDE debug symbols

Hi, Pat-sons and other slack-borned,

Where can I find KDE 4.4.x debug symbols?

My dolphin-fish likes to be out of segment (segmentation fault).

KDE crash handler complains about missing debug(ger) symbols.

Are they added to Slackware? I made full-install.

Help.

As always, for your help you will be rewarded - in the future I mean.

Slackware does not build any of its packages with debug symbols.

If you need to debug a package, you have to recompile it with debug symbols - and watch out for the lines in the SlackBuild script where debug symbols are stripped from the compiled binaries before the actual package is created.

Thanks @Alien Bob.

But maybe I should try to do this with KDE 4.5. Perhaps even SlackBuild scripts will work.

Simply, it is in the fact almost the same work. Or, the simplest solution, wait for the next slack-current?

KDE 4.5 according to the announcement will be realesed in august. I may expect that the binaries
for slack, will appear in the september, october.

But, perhaps it is the time to be a REAL COMPILER (I mean the man who uses compilators to compile
programs) and do neglect my slack-duties.

Again, thanks for answer
