kde and xfce


I think i made a misstep and install xfce as the default desktop manager as opposed to kde. is it possible to make kde my default desktop manager.

As user

$ xwmconfig

Run it as root to change it system-wide.

it would seem i downloaded a version that doesn't seem to have kde as an option. do i have to reinstall to get kde up and running?

DId you download the full DVD? KDe should also be there within first 3CDs which are required for installation.

I did download the dvd. My installation had koffice kdeedu kdenetwork and all other kdeoption but no desktop manager strange.
