KDE 4.6 no clock (Red X - Unknown Widget)

I installed the new KDE 4.6 after considering a change from XFCE.

The issue is that I get no clock widget, but instead a red x.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I upgraded from kde -current to ktown 4.6 and I've got the same issue in my taskbar. If I
try to install a clock widget on my desktop I have the same issue there as well.

have a look at the end of the comments here: I think you have to upgrade kdepimlibs and kdepim-runtime.

I have those installed already

Thu Jan 27 12:58:28 # slackpkg search kdepim

Looking for kdepim in package list. Please wait... DONE

The list below shows all packages with name matching "kdepim".

[ installed ] - kdepim-4.4.9-i486-1
[ installed ] - kdepim-runtime-4.4.9-i486-1
[ installed ] - kdepimlibs-4.5.5-i486-2

This is incorrect. You should have installed "kdepimlibs-4.6.0-i486-1alien" instead if you are running KDE 4.6.0. The the two packages that together form the PIM suite are "kdepim" and "kdepim-runtime" and you correctly kept those two at version 4.4.9. But "kdepimlibs" is part of KDE core and not part of the PIM package set.
