KAudioCreator crashes with 2.6.13 testing kernel

Hi,

Has anyone successfully run KAudioCreator with the 2.6 testing kernel? When I try, KAudioCreator runs away and uses a lot of CPU and RAM without ever opening the inital X-windows screen. If I reboot in 2.4.X it works fine. It may be that KAudioCreator is expecting to use IDE-SCSI emulation which is not used with 2.6.13 but this is simply speculation since I dont get any error messages, just an impending crash, which I stop by killing the process. Am I missing something obvious? I suspect this will be fixed in Slackware 11.0

Whenever I have a problem I run the program from the command line and look at the error message (if any) that is given.

Try that and post the output if it doesn't help you.

There is no error message when it is run from a xterm. It simply starts burning up massive CPU and memory resources and eats into the swap file. If I use the 2.4.xx kernel, it works fine.
