k3b problem Slackware 10.2
 

Hello .I have k3b 3.5.2 (installed with sourcecode)
and when i start up k3b-setup in the menu i don't see a burning device
.I read the thread : CDR burner not being recognized by K3B setup ,
but it didn't worked out for me and i have Slackware 10.2 also .
First time in k3b-setup he recognized the cd burner but after a few commands he did not recognized it anymore what do i have to do next.

try editing the menu editor and add run as other user (root)
then when you run k3b, it will prompt for password and it will works
