k3b 0.12 slackpack problem

I upgraded k3b-0.11.23-i486-1.tgz with current's version.
# upgradepkg k3b-0.12-i486-1.tgz

After doing this k3b was no longer able to write audiocds from mp3's.
Says it can't understand the format.
Reverting back to 11.23 fixes it. Has anyone else run into this?

Weird, k3b-0.12-i486-1 works fine here...

Did it install /opt/kde/lib/kde3/ ?
(I think this lib is responsible to decode mp3)
