Just want to update lilo.conf

How can I just update my lilo.conf as I had just make some changes?

Are you asking how to update lilo.conf itself, or how to apply the changes?

If you have made modifications to lilo.conf (using a text editor of some kind), then all you need to do is type:


as root, to get the changes applied.

i use pico to edit test, so type..
pico /lilo.conf
then modify and save, then go back to root and type
you are all done
