I'm already this far, may as well keep going with it. Any ideas with my current situation? What could the "unknown symbol" error mean?

I went through some issues installing the broadcom driver wit hthe 3.10 kernal already. You can check out this thread and see if anything there could help you. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...53#post5032753

Gave up and went to debian. Installed the broadcom-sta-dkms package and it worked right away. Thank you all for the help you offered. I may come back to slackware at a later date, but for now I'll probably be sticking to debain.
