just wondering if there is an option to boot into live cd for testing, im just wondering because i have a laptop and do not have access to a wire connection and im worried about it not coming pre-loaded with my broadcom drivers.
Well, use the computer that you used to post here and download the broadcom drivers to a USB stick. Mount the USB stick after the initial Slackware install and install the drivers from the USB stick.

That is exactly what im wanting to do, But im having issues with downloading on all the dependencies and im afraid I will not be able to get it working..I always have trouble..still learning, but how different is slack? Im used to .deb, would this make said task daunting to me?
Also I do not recall exact specs for Broadcom, i will edit when i go grab that laptop

Id appreciate any tips/suggestions
Why not try to use 'dual boot'? If you have the disk space you can install to a different partition then setup so your current install is intact.
