Hi. I am running slackware 9.0
For the X program, I am running KDE. I am wondering how I can access java apps on either browser (Mozilla, or Konqueror)
I have java enabled, and I've checked all the settings, etc on the browser settings, but no Java apps will load. Am I missing something? Maybe Java doesn't come with Slackware?

My 2nd question is the following:
I am a regular user of gaim, and I have my yahoo account set up on that. But i want to access Yahoo chat rooms. Is there any version of Yahoo! that I can download? Or maybe any other program built for slackware? (Not including curphoo - since that is used at the command line)

You have to use the Java plugin from Blackdown Java.

To get java plugin, u need java virtual machine / java runtime enviroment (JRE). U can trace the actual one from http://java.sun.com . If u prefer it ..

If u prefer to use the JavaSoftwareDevelopmentKit (j2sdk) from java..sun.com, u can download it from:
