jack2 in slackware?
hello everyone,
it seems there is no slackbuild for jack2. Among other things, jack2 adds multiprocessor support, and can be used as a drop in replacement for jack1 without need for recompilation of the dependent applications, should someone require that. more info in http://jackaudio.org/ I am thinking of building a slackbuild, and wondering about the usefulness of it, among audio slackers |
I downloaded the source via git and compiled and installed in 2 o 3 minutes.
Compiling it does't require a lot of hacks and tuning so I don't think a slackbuild is really necessary. |
I use JACK - I might take a look at JACK2 see if it give me extra functionality, but yes I would be interested in a slackbuild.
