JACK and Slackware 10.2


How do i install JACK on Slackware?

I do a make file...but i get this....

First you'll need to install the alsa-plugins. After that all you should have to do is ./configure, make, make install (or better make a package and install the package - easier to remove that way).

Wich ALSA plugins should i install...

and how to create a package??

This is the only one you should need alsa-plugins-1.0.9

Look at man makepkg and also there are a couple of pretty good guides over at LinuxPackages.net. Here is the link to their The Perfect Package and Building a Slackware Package. You can also look on your Slackware CD's in the source directories and look at the build scripts that Pat uses.

If you need any other help, just let me know and I can post a script that I use to build my packages.
