It seems Patrick miss the security update of Seamonkey


Seamonkey release 2.22.1 as security update for 2.22.

Seems Patrick miss the update. It is actually release back to back on the same date.

"release X.XX.? as security update for X.XX" -don't they do that at least once a week?

Also, 14.1 was released with Seamonkey 2.21.

Thanks for pointing this out. Seamonkey 2.22 bundles an NSS vulnerable to: CVE-2013-1741, CVE-2013-2566, CVE-2013-5605, CVE-2013-5606, and CVE-2013-5607.

Mozilla updates with fixed NSS code relevant to Slackware:
  • Firefox ESR 24.1.1 (*)
  • Thunderbird 24.1.1
  • Seamonkey 2.22.1
  • NSS 3.15.3
(*) Included in Slackware's 11/15 update
