Welcome back.
I've been a Slackware user since 2009 and never looked back.
My first exposure to Linux was around 2005 with a Knoppix live cd, I was blown away and around a year later took the leap and installed Mandriva. Mandriva only lasted until my first update which broke the system, I then installed PcLinux which I used until I found Blue/White64 which led me to Slackware proper.

I've tried to use Suse Linux last year but went back to Slackware within 2 weeks. Suse's package manager rendered my system unbootable after trying to install a program (don't even remember which). Something that never happened to me on Slackware. So I was back very quickly.
