issue with gpio driver

Hi,

I'm trying to port Kontron drivers(linux-3.0) in slackware 14.0(32 bit)

The Kontron CCAL board has 3 GPIO pins and the driver path is provided by Kontron it self.

The kernel has built successfully with driver patch. but the driver not loaded automatically at boot time. so manually loaded using modprobe

lsmod output related to gpio driver

Module Size Used by
eai_gpio 2419 0
eai_lpc 1246 0

under sys/class/gpio it showing only
export and import. here i hope it should show gpio chip related files.

dmesg its not showing any error after insert these drivers.

an idea what may be the issue....?

Thanks for your suggestions
