I was wondering if there was an update/dep grabber for slackware such as mandrakes urpmi program. I have recently ventured into slackware and have know idea. Any feedback would be awsome.

Question Slackware vs rpm

?
Slackware is a "tar ball bases" distro, as far as I know, Slacware doesnt preffer feeding with rpm packages, in fact -the great thing about slackware is the clean, configurable tarballs which you can easily download and managae with swaret (this program is like apt-get, only it fetches tarballs for you).
