Is slocate 3.1 malfunctioning here?

Kernel 3.2.29, Slackware 14.0
Secure Locate 3.1

Code:
root@server:~# updatedb
root@server:~# ls /tmp/juan/da.c
/tmp/juan/da.c
root@server:~# locate da.c
/almacen/sma_/ch/partida.chs
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/pci/hotplug/ibmphp_ebda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/staging/comedi/drivers/cb_pcimdda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/staging/comedi/drivers/cb_pcidda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/macintosh/via-cuda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/net/irda/sh_irda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/net/phy/cicada.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/mtd/nand/alauda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/usb/storage/alauda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/drivers/usb/serial/keyspan_pda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/arch/arm/mach-omap2/board-omap4panda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_amanda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/net/irda/af_irda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/net/irda/irnet/irnet_irda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/net/ipv4/netfilter/nf_nat_amanda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/sound/i2c/other/ak4xxx-adda.c
/usr/src/linux-3.2.29/fs/btrfs/reada.c
root@server:~#
As you can see, /tmp/juan/da.c is nowhere to be seen. What can possibly be the cause? As additional data,

Code:
semoi@server:/almacen/sma_/info/clear/cl1/correo/lq$ cat /etc/*db.conf
# /etc/updatedb.conf: slocate configuration file

PRUNEFS="devpts NFS nfs afs proc smbfs autofs iso9660 udf tmpfs cifs"
PRUNEPATHS="/dev /proc /sys /tmp /usr/tmp /var/tmp /afs /net /media /mnt"
export PRUNEFS
export PRUNEPATHS
semoi@server:/almacen/sma_/info/clear/cl1/correo/lq$

Isn't it because /tmp is in PRUNEPATHS? IIRC, PRUNEPATHS is a space-separated list of directories that slocate won't scan.
