I have trie a couple of Linux Distros in Live-CD, like PCLinuxOS and Linux-Puppy, but I am not happy with it, because in PCLinuxOS you can't save any document files and in Puppy, I can't print a file because Postscript file are missiing.
I wonder if Slackware has a Live-CD available, which would be able to save document files (*sxw and *.doc) and have no problems with Printing.
Or are there any Distros with Live-CD which will save document files properly and print documents without problems?
While Slax will install to your harddrive, it does so with KDE as the only option, since it is a KDE install script. And that is really too bad, considering it's brilliant Fluxbox desktop.
There's an excellent livecd called Slackware Live. Search for it on google and try it, it's only about 200MB. You can add some other software to the image too if you want
