I have a laptop with an 11.6 inch high resolution screen, and as a result I have had some problems keeping things to a reasonable size instead of microscopically small. I have most of it worked out with custom a dpi, larger terminal fonts, and Firefox plugins, but every so often something really tiny shows up that I have to figure out how to make larger.
Right now it is the toolbar icons on Eclipse. They are too small to view comfortably and are hurting my eyes. I found references on the Eclipse forum and on Stack Overflow that suggest they are set to use a size of 16 pixels and cannot be changed, which would suggest I'm out of luck, but nonetheless I thought I'd ask my fellow slackers in case there is some kind of Linux-specific workaround the other guys don't know about.
I'd be grateful for any input.
Here is what I found:

Edit: I just noticed that information on the Eclipse forum is from way back in 2004, but the question on Stack Overflow is from within a year.
