Are you planning for Slackware to outlive your career as its Benevolent Dictator For Life? And if the answer is "yes", then are there any details that you can reveal at this time?

Jeremy, sorry for taking this somewhat off-topic in answering a question in advance.

I can say that you certainly are not an anomaly in the Slackware universe. There's something about Slackware that appeals to the self-supportive, independent people of this world, not to mention those who don't care much about societal norms. This is true of Linux in general, but more true of Slackware than perhaps any other distribution.
For example, Slackware is strongly supported at the South East Linux Fest because a lot of Slackware users seem to be from the Southern States where there's a strong anti-establishment, rebellious nature among the populace. Also, the Slackware team almost universally carries firearms daily. My current carry piece is a stainless high-cap Para Ordanance 1911 in .45 ACP. It's nothing for use to discuss beer, whiskey, Slackware, and firearms whenever we get together.
[0] typed that out instinctively as mysqld the first time through. God I've been working on databases too long.
Most of the questions I would ask have already been posted. But I will post the 3 I would most like answered in case you going by popularity of the questions. The questions are pretty much all tied together.
What is your typical work day like?
What is your current development system setup like? Pc specs, WM/DE
What tools do you use to keep track of all the packages in Slackware for updating and deciding what gets updated and when?
Distribution: Debian, Red Hat, Slackware, Fedora, Ubuntu

The questions have been submitted to Patrick. Once I have the answers, they will be posted to the Interviews forum (and I'll update this thread with a link).
Hell I don't even know how to find out if I got an infraction. I'm used to seeing some one respond with *PLONK* if I've done something they disapprove of. I do think the off-topic thing has probably been dropped now that the question phase is over, but I'm unsure.
I just wish I couldn't thought of some good questions to throw into the mix.
Can you imagine the willpower it must be taking Pat to not post in this thread? You know he's reading it.
EDIT: I assume the rules against "going off topic" (where anything that isn't a question for Pat is off topic) has been relaxed a bit, now that the questions have been submitted?

As an update: Pat has confirmed that he received the questions. He's going to attend to them as soon as possible, but doesn't have an ETA at this time.

I guess it's a classic slackware situation - Pat will send the answers when they are ready.
