Interesting hack attempt through Firefox.

I've been running Firefox in a chroot jail for a few days now.

This is the first time I've seen this:
Code:

(firefox:4503): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: Error creating IO channel for /proc/mounts: No such file or directory (g-file-error-quark, 4)

(firefox:4503): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to store changes into `/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel', but failed: Failed to create file '/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel.A5M74W': No such file or directory

It looks like you're running Firefox as root and you're not bothered to google what is, apparently, a pretty common error:

jon,
Your tinfoil might be a bit too snug ;-)

Like I said, FF is in a chroot jail (a real one).

Why is this a one-off thing? It has never done this before (and it isn't doing it now).

So far, this has been the only error that I have ever seen.
Quote:

bash-4.2# firefox

(process:2526): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion `sys_page_size == 0' failed

Why is this not reproduceable?

Perhaps you did something different when setting up the jail that made /root/ non-writeble? Or perhaps you ran Firefox as the wrong user, or did something like using "su" instead of "su -" or the other way around?
You really don't give anyone anything to go on but as the link I gave you states this is taken to be normal behaviour for the OS and is not any different to a most recently used list.
