Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 Driver

Hi Everyone,

On my "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900" slackware doesn't recognize it. I use the 2.4.33.3 kernel and it works good but when I install it with huge26.s or any 2.6.* kernel it doesn't work. When i want to startx it gives me some errors. Does anyone have drivers for it or know how I can get it to be ok. The error is something that the X server cannot run.

I will appreciate your opinions....

Try run command
Code:

xorgconfig
?
Make sure that you installed the source, modules,
and module headers for the kernel too, if you want
to use 2.6* kernel. If huge26.s works fine then
just install what I said above and try run
xorgconfig again and see if that does it.

Good Luck!

'xorgsetup' usually works better than 'xorgconfig', at least every time I've tried it.

I have tried both:
Code:

xorgsetup
xorgconfig
Xorg -configure

But still get errors and some errors say. Doesn't support screen depth and I have tried all of them and only screen console work..

And when I do:
Code:

# shutdown -r 0
Its says "Rebooting ." And never reboots Do you think it could be the vga stuff that doesn't let it reboot? This only happens on 2.6 kernels...

All opinions and suggestions are welcomed..
