Installpkg error recovery

Hi Everybody,

I have been trying to install slackware this weekend and every time I have been getting a couple installpkg errors where it couldn't install this or that. Every time they are different files. Does this happen to other people? What can I do to just install the packages that didn't get installed? I checked the MD5 sums after downloading the ISO's, and they were ok.

Thanks,
Teoryn

Maybe problems with the DMA chipset...

Try to add ide=nodma on the boot-prompt as
a kernel parameter....

Cheers,
Tink
