Installing Plugin to Kopete

I've been trying to trim back on my installed packages and when it comes down to IM clients, I've always been good with Pidgin. But since I'm using KDE I figured I might as well use the native IM client, Kopete. It has all the features I use in Pidgin apart from one, which is the Psychic plugin (opens a chat window once someone starts typing). I found a viable alternative to this in Kopete since it doesn't have something like that installed already, and it's a plugin called Psyko (http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=121585).

From what I understand, I need to compile the plugin myself using Cmake, but when I do that in Terminal I get the following:

Code:

bash-4.2$ cmake .
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:4 (kde4_add_kcfg_files):
  Unknown CMake command "kde4_add_kcfg_files".

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

Not too sure what's going wrong, and Google yields nothing that I can tell. Does anyone know how I should go about doing this?

This worked pretty well for me (slackware64-13.37):
Code:

tar xvf psyko-0.1.tar.gz
cd psyko-0.1
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr ..
make

I did not try to install and run it.

Thank you very much:) I didn't know about making the build directory or the install prefix part. I wiped my progress and started over following your instructions, and it has installed perfectly:)
