Unhappy Installing oracle database stuck on prerequisite check

Hello

Trying to install Oracle Database Enterprise 11g into Slackware 14.2(amd64)(in virtualbox for now)
Stuck on Prerequisite Checks step, progress at 47% "Checking Hard Limit: maximum open file descriptors..."(for 40 minutes already!)

In process list I see child process of installer consumes 90% cpu, other 10% by installer itself.

Any hints?

What about this bit (lines 582-584)?
Code:
SEVERE: [FATAL] [INS-32021] Insufficient disk space on this volume for the selected Oracle home.
CAUSE: The selected Oracle home was on a volume without enough disk space.
ACTION: Choose a location for Oracle home that has enough space (minimum of 4,397MB) or free up space on the existing volume.

Digged more.
Found that installer spawn child process to check limits. And it seems to be deadlocked
Quote:
/tmp/CVU_11.2.0.1.0_oracle/exectask -getrlimit oracle hard nofile
Attached its strace log of its standalone invocation... deadlock on futex... have no idea how to fix it.

Just before endless futex's, at line 107:
Code:
stat("/etc/security/limits.conf", 0x7fff009702b0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
